Happy birthday, Rupert Grint!

As it is past midnight in the UK, today, Wednesday August 24th marks actor Rupert Grint's 23rd birthday. All Harry Potter fans know Rupert as playing Harry's loyal, courageous, hilarious, and faithful best friend and sidekick Ron Weasley in the film series, from when he started at the age of 12 in Sorcerer's Stone to the release of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this past July.

Rupert, born Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint, has starred in several films outside the Harry Potter series, including Cherrybomb, Wild Target, Driving Lessons, and Thunderpants, and the upcoming war drama, Comrade.
