Harry Potter head producer David Heyman will be participating in a discussion and question and answer session at the 2011 Frankfurt Book Festival on his work in the eight-film saga and its extraordinary success. Heyman's panel will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. German local time. Unfortunately the panel will not be open to the public; only trade visitors, librarians, and insiders will be able to purchase tickets the day of Heyman's discussion; public access to the book festival will be open two days after his discussion, from 15 - 16 October 2011.

The all-media conference Frankfurt StoryDrive 2011 is all about big ideas - and prominent people. On 12 and 13 October, successful key players from the international film, games and publishing industries will ring in the future of “Storytelling & Storyselling”.
The special guest will be David Heyman, the producer of all eight Harry Potter films and thus the man behind the most successful film franchise of all time. In an exclusive Q&A (Thursday, 13 October, 2:00 p.m.), he will offer StoryDrive participants a look behind the scenes of what is likely the most high-profile 360° success story. Heyman was recently honoured as “Producer of the Decade”. He has been responsible for other big hits in addition to Harry Potter, including Will Smith’s “I am Legend” and Jim Carrey’s comedy “Yes Man”. He is currently working on the science fiction drama “Gravity”, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock in the lead roles.
