CANCELED: 'Deathly Hallows 2' Midnight Screening in the Philippines

SM Cinemas canceled the 3D Midnight Screenings of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2'. According to them, the distributor (Warner Bros. Pictures) did not allow them. Blame the piracy in Asia. Oh well, that's life. I actually purchased tickets and that's a problem for me!!! Below is their official announcement:

Dear SM Cinema Patrons, the midnight screening of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' will not push through. The film distributor did not allow us to do so because the Philippine release of the movie is already ahead of the June 15 (US release date).
