Let's celebrate Potterhead for this one. The epic road film 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1' is now the official No. 1 'Harry Potter' film of all time in the international market.
As I write this, the film has already earned US$657.24M and counting, passing the previous record-holder, 2001’s 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone' with US$657M gross.
Of course Warner Bros. is happy with these numbers... and of course they're expecting 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2', which will be released this Summer, to be the No. 1 'Harry Potter' Film of all time. Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, said:
"It’s tremendously gratifying to reach this benchmark as we enter the final stretch of this remarkable journey."
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1' was released last November.
